The Team at Berger Solar Electric is dedicated to living and working in a strong, thriving community. Doing our part in fulfilling our clients goals of reducing their electricity costs while contributing to a cleaner energy future for everyone is a primary driver of what we do daily in our community.
The main stage of the Tri-County Fairgrounds has also received a full facelift thanks to donations from Berger Solar Electric. We treated the fairgrounds to a new sound system, lights, paint and a mixing room. We also contribute to keeping the environment clean by participating in the State of California’s Adopt-A-Highway program. Several times a year the Berger Solar Electric Team is cleaning up trash on the roadside of US 395, pitching in to do our part in keeping the Eastern Sierra scenic and litter-free. We are also the proud sponsor of a bowling team participating in league play at the Back Alley Bowling Alley & Grill in Bishop.
Scott Berger first established his electrical contracting business in 1991. He started in the electrical field in 1985 by attending Los Angeles Trade and Technical College, and completed the 2 year Electrical Construction and Maintenance program while working in the afternoons as an apprentice. In 1988 Scott moved to Mammoth Lakes, CA where he started working as a ski lift electrician for Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. While there Scott’s responsibilities included the construction and maintenance of ski lift electrical systems, water control systems and the construction of the snow making compressor building and pump stations. He also designed and installed new control systems for many existing Mammoth Mountain ski lifts. In 1999 Scott decided to leave the ski area to focus on his contracting business and has been serving the Eastern Sierra ever since.
